Cyro Cyber Named Finalist in Three Categories at the National Cyber Awards 2026
LONDON, UK – 13th August, 2026
Cyro Cyber, a UK based cyber security professional and managed security services provider, has been named a finalist in three categories at the National Cyber Awards 2026, recognising the organisation’s work across managed security services, cyber security consultancy and Critical National Infrastructure.
Cyro Cyber has been shortlisted for:
MSP of the Year
Enterprise Consultancy of the Year
Critical National Infrastructure Award
The National Cyber Awards recognise individuals, teams and organisations making a meaningful contribution to cyber security across the UK. The 2026 awards bring together organisations working across industry, government, law enforcement and academia, with winners to be announced at the Royal Lancaster London on 28th September 2026.
For Cyro Cyber, the three nominations reflect the breadth of its work supporting organisations facing increasingly complex cyber threats, regulatory requirements and resilience challenges.
From 24/7 security monitoring and incident response to complex security assessments, secure system design and consultancy, Cyro Cyber supports organisations where the consequences of cyber disruption can be significant for the UK’s resilience. Cyro’s teams work across IT and OT environments, regulated industries and critical infrastructure, helping clients identify and address vulnerabilities, strengthen their defences and make confident decisions about cyber risk and resilience.
Peter Lane, Consultancy Director at Cyro Cyber, said:
“Being shortlisted across three categories is a strong reflection of the depth of expertise we have built at Cyro and the way our teams work alongside clients to solve genuinely complex security challenges. Good cyber security has to work in the real world. It needs to account for the organisation, its people, its technology, its regulatory environment and the threats it actually faces. That is what we aim to bring to every engagement, whether we are supporting a CNI organisation, a financial services business or another highly regulated provider of essential services.”
The recognition also highlights the delivery of Cyro’s Managed Security Services, which provide organisations with ongoing security monitoring, detection and response alongside access to specialist cyber expertise.
Alec Warriner, Services Director at Cyro Cyber, said:
“For me, the MSP nomination is particularly meaningful because it recognises what happens after the strategy and architecture are in place. Our clients need security services that perform consistently, respond when it matters and give them confidence that their risks are being actively managed. The teams delivering those services every day are incredibly committed to getting the details right, and this shortlist is recognition of that professionalism and consistency.”
Cyro Cyber’s CNI work forms a further part of the recognition, supporting organisations across sectors including energy, water and transport as they navigate the intersection of cyber security, operational technology, resilience and evolving regulatory expectations.
Shannon Simpson, CEO at Cyro Cyber, said:
“To be shortlisted three times in the National Cyber Awards is a fantastic achievement for Cyro and, most importantly, for our people. We have built the business around a simple principle: deliver high quality cyber security that makes a tangible difference to our clients. These nominations recognise that approach across our consultancy, managed services and work with critical national infrastructure. We are proud of what the team has achieved and incredibly grateful to the clients who trust us to help protect and strengthen their organisations.”
The three nominations come at a time when organisations across the UK are facing a rapidly changing threat landscape alongside increasing expectations around cyber resilience and regulatory compliance. For organisations operating essential services and other highly regulated entities, the ability to understand risk, respond effectively and build resilience has become an increasingly important part of business strategy.
Cyro Cyber’s shortlisting recognises the contribution of its teams across these areas and the work undertaken with clients to turn cyber security strategy into practical, measurable outcomes.
The winners of the National Cyber Awards 2026 will be announced at the Royal Lancaster London on 28 September 2026.
