THE VACANCY:
Cyro Cyber are looking for an Internal IT Support Engineer to assist in making sure that all Cyro IT systems are working correctly. You will assist in being responsible for internal IT tickets, the prioritisation and resolution of these tickets. You will assist in reviewing IT systems from a technical viewpoint and make suggestions to enable the growth of the business and development of the platform.
The role requires being on call as per the local rota for escalations, shift work and may on occasion require travel to and working from client sites.
Primary responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
Assist in the support the use of M365 Azure cloud services
Administration of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune and other related services.
Configuration, management, and troubleshooting of office Wi-Fi e.g. Meraki network devices as well as all corporate laptops, printers, meeting room TVs, mobiles and tablets
Ensure the efficient operation of printers and related hardware.
Assist in the testing of restoring all systems in line with the agreed schedule so as to validate backups and the restore processes.
Maintain an asset register of physical and virtual devices as well as an Informational Asset register of software and applications in use at Cyro
Maintain list of user licenses and their assignees
Maintain a list of all admins to system and review with appropriate senior management that they are correct and appropriate.
Work with the OST Team and CISO to ensure Cyro vulnerability scanning is conducted monthly; results recorded with remediation activities done in a timely manner.
Ensure that daily checks are completed, and systems are running as expected.
Timely action Joiners, Mover and Leaver requests.
Follow the Cyro procurement process when ordering assets.
Work with subject matter experts in Cyro to ensure that Cyro systems are secure.
Continually look for ways to improve the team’s skills and Cyro’s systems.
To assist in the build and design of Proof-of-Concept scenarios.
To help in the creation of test type documentation and test scenarios
IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address their IT needs.

Security and Compliance
Assist the Platforms team in compliance with Cyro ISO policies.
Assist the Platforms team in ensure that all Endpoints are compliant to CE+.
Assist the Platforms team in ensure that 5% sample of devices are CE+ compliant every 3 months, evidence in an asset tracker.
Update backup tracker on a monthly basis to show status of backups. .
Technical Support:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
Ensure tickets, escalations, changes and upgrades are completed and closed in line with Service Level Agreements.
To assist the Platforms Team as requested. This can be but is not limited to the review of Azure, M365, Intune, Defender, to assist other Cyro colleagues.
To investigate escalated, non-routine and high-impact incidents to responsible service owners and seeks resolution. Facilitates recovery, following resolution of incidents. Ensure that resolved incidents are properly documented and closed.
To analyse the causes of incidents, and informs service owners to minimise probability of recurrence, and contributes to service improvements.
Essential Skills and Experience
Minimum relevant experience 2 years.
Hold SC clearance.
Background ideally within the Private Sector (Banking, Legal, Other) and/or Public Sector (HMG, Critical National Infrastructure (CNI), Local Government, Other).
Skills including a selection from the following (not an exhaustive list): Azure, M365, MS Defender, Intune.
Security related qualifications or Microsoft qualifications, SC-900, AZ-900.
Levels of responsibility: Level 2 - Assist
