Cyro Cyber is looking for an enthusiastic team player to grow their Information Assurance career working on some projects of significant national interest.

Role Profile

Cyro Cyber are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the Operations Department who shall oversee client facing cyber security projects, combining technical expertise with project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.

Primary responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of client facing cyber security projects

  • Collaborate with security engineers, architects, operations teams, and external vendors & partners to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.

  • Track project milestones, budgets, and resource allocation; proactively manage risks and issues.

  • Ensure all projects comply with regulatory and policy standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CAF).

  • Coordinate and communicate project status with stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and business units.

  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure third-party deliverables meet security and performance standards.

  • Champion Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies tailored to cybersecurity environments.

  • Create and maintain project documentation including charters, roadmaps, and post-project reviews.

  • Be responsible for several projects at one time.

  • Liaise directly with Team Managers and Resourcing teams to ensure appropriate allocation of resources.

By adhering to company’s project delivery framework, creating artifacts, completing checklists and applying governance processes.

  • Track resource requests for projects, work orders, pre-sales and RFP/Bids

  • Organise Kick-Off meetings internal and/or customer facing

  • Trigger customer invoicing when project completed

  • Collate customer rechargeable expenses

  • Deal with sales invoice queries

  • Help track and manage license renewals

  • Help Operations Director with presentation of operational performance and KPIs

  • Help process & approve timesheets

  • Prepare Consultancy Days Delivered reporting & forecasting

  • Identification and feedback of further business opportunities

  • Adhoc activities to support the Operations Team or business as required.

Essential Skills and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with at least 2 years in a cybersecurity-related role.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional and distributed teams

  • BPSS cleared and eligible for SC

  • Experienced in project coordination of professional consultancy and manged services

  • Excellent organisational skills with analytical and planning skills

  • Proven stakeholder management skills

  • Methodical with good numeric / financial skills

  • Takes responsibility and ownership of tasks, seeking clarification as required

  • Desirable experience within the cyber security industry sector

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Previously held Security Clearance or Developed Vetting (SC/DV)

  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.

  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.).

  • Conversant with Microsoft suite of products - to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint and Teams (Approvals, Shifts)

  • Advantageous knowledge of Microsoft Business Central (Project job costing module) and SmartSheets (Project management tool)
